Brooke graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Iowa. Her first job was editing for Your Money magazine. She later worked writing children’s books before joining H&A in 2002. Under the tutelage of her father and founding member, Paul Hessel, Brooke learned all aspects of plan design and administration. She earned her Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) designation from ASPPA and is a member of NIPA. In her “free time,” Brooke also teaches yoga, but what she cherishes the most is her time with her husband and two children, Dylan and Riley.
