Wendy was born and raised in New York and attended Hunter College where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree. Upon graduation, she taught grade school and music in the New York City school system. She and her husband, Paul, moved to the Chicago area and in 1979 established Hessel & Associates. Watching a two-person start-up company grow into the well-respected third party administrative firm it is today has been a very satisfying part of her life. Wendy spends her leisure time playing golf, reading, playing poker and bridge and enjoying her four grandchildren.
